Open Art Suitcases from Korea 

Join us for an informal gathering where we'll unveil two captivating artworks in the form of suitcases, created by Korean women artists Lee Soonjong (이순종, 1953-) and Jang Pa (장파, 1981-). These unique art pieces have journeyed all the way from Korea to Toronto as part of the international exchange project "The Show Must Go On," curated by Shin Boseul. 

Through these suitcases, Lee Soonjong and Jang Pa offer their distinctive interpretations and twists on femininity, each expressed through the portable and miniature medium of art. This event provides a rare opportunity to intimately engage with their work—to touch, open, and scrutinize the artworks firsthand.
